Structuring sustainable infrastructure between Europe and Africa

WB Synergy is a French project development and advisory company. We develop renewable energy projects under public-private partnership, and we advise businesses and institutions on project finance, operational performance and regulatory compliance.

From intention to delivery.

Who we are

A developer that advises, and an adviser that develops

Founded in 2019 and led since 2020 by Fulbert Blaise Kodjeu Wache, WB Synergy SAS shifted its activity in 2024 from advisory alone to the actual development of infrastructure. We now work on both sides: we develop our own projects, carrying development risk ourselves, and we put that operational experience to work for our clients.

This dual position is written into our corporate purpose. It also explains our method: we do not recommend risk-management arrangements that we do not apply to our own assets.

What we do

Five areas of activity

Our activities correspond exactly to the corporate purpose set out in Article 2 of our articles of association. We do not advertise services we are not authorised to provide.

01

Renewable energy project development

We develop renewable energy projects and advise other sponsors on developing theirs. Actual development - not advisory alone - is written into our corporate purpose.

02

Energy transition, sustainability and CSR

We support businesses and public institutions in defining and implementing their transition pathway, and in structuring measurable corporate responsibility programmes.

03

Project finance

We prepare infrastructure projects to meet lenders: financial modelling, financing structure and diligence readiness.

04

Management consulting and operational performance

Our original discipline: supporting organisations on strategy, structure and governance, including their digital and human dimensions.

05

Business continuity, operational risk and compliance

Our chief executive's most established field: more than fifteen years in European financial institutions working on business continuity and operational resilience. Since September 2026 we have been supporting a Belgian insurance group on its business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements, under the European DORA Regulation.

Flagship project

Ntui Solar Power Plant - 250 MWdc

A photovoltaic project with battery storage, developed in Cameroon under a public-private partnership with the Conseil Régional du Centre, alongside TES Technologies SARL, our strategic and technical partner in Cameroon.

The project completed its pre-feasibility phase in July 2026. It sits at early-stage development: the independent yield study, the environmental and social impact assessment and the grid-connection studies are still to be carried out. No power purchase agreement has been signed to date.

Our approach

Infrastructure development in Central Africa rarely fails for technical reasons

It fails on the quality of preparation, the reliability of the data and the credibility of the sponsor. Our method addresses those three things.

01 - State the real stage of the project

A project in early-stage development is not a financed project. We publish a maturity ladder with its transition criteria, and we place each project on it. A financial institution that reads "200 MW" without qualification concludes that the sponsor does not know the business.

02 - One single source of truth

Each project has one versioned reference document that supersedes its predecessors, tied to a single financial model. When an assumption is revised, earlier documents are withdrawn from circulation rather than left to coexist.

03 - Separate assumption from established fact

Our documents distinguish explicitly between data validated by an independent third party, sponsor estimates and working assumptions. A yield estimate not validated by an independent consultant is presented as such, never as a result.

04 - Prepare to lender standards from the outset

Environmental and social impact assessment to IFC Performance Standards, stakeholder engagement plan, risk management framework, source register. These are prepared early because they condition access to concessional finance.
