What we do

Our five areas of activity follow directly from Article 2 of our articles of association. Each is presented with its real perimeter: what we do, and what we do not.

The scope below reproduces the corporate purpose of WB Synergy SAS as set out in its current articles of association. We also carry out the related commercial, financial and industrial operations attaching to it, including equipment sourcing for infrastructure projects.

01

Renewable energy project development

We develop renewable energy projects and advise other sponsors on developing theirs. Actual development - not advisory alone - is written into our corporate purpose.

Scope - We are neither an EPC contractor nor an operator. We develop and structure, then run competitive processes among qualified parties.

Services

  • Site identification and securing
  • Structuring under public-private partnership
  • Coordination of technical studies: energy yield, grid connection, storage sizing
  • Management of environmental and social studies to international financial institution standards
  • Preparation and running of competitive EPC tenders
  • Coordination of public, technical and financial stakeholders

02

Energy transition, sustainability and CSR

We support businesses and public institutions in defining and implementing their transition pathway, and in structuring measurable corporate responsibility programmes.

Scope - We do not issue certification or independent verification: these are matters for accredited third-party bodies.

Services

  • Assessment of energy pathway and climate exposure
  • Structuring of CSR programmes with verifiable indicators
  • Integration of sustainable development objectives into governance
  • Scoping of environmental and social impact assessments
  • Methodology for quantifying avoided emissions, and its limitations

03

Project finance

We prepare infrastructure projects to meet lenders: financial modelling, financing structure and diligence readiness.

Scope - WB Synergy is not a credit institution, an investment services provider or a regulated financial investment adviser under the French Monetary and Financial Code. We place no securities and solicit no public savings.

Services

  • Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
  • Structuring of blended financing combining concessional and commercial tranches
  • Bankability memoranda and diligence materials
  • Data-room preparation and responses to lender questionnaires
  • Coordination between investors, lenders, authorities and operators

04

Management consulting and operational performance

Our original discipline: supporting organisations on strategy, structure and governance, including their digital and human dimensions.

Scope - Our engagements are sized to our team. We decline assignments we cannot run at the level of presence they require.

Services

  • Strategy, organisation and planning
  • Governance and decision-making processes
  • Digital transformation, information systems and web technologies
  • Yield improvement and operational optimisation
  • Human resources and training
  • Interim management

05

Business continuity, operational risk and compliance

Our chief executive's most established field: more than fifteen years in European financial institutions working on business continuity and operational resilience. Since September 2026 we have been supporting a Belgian insurance group on its business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements, under the European DORA Regulation.

Scope - We do not perform independent audit of arrangements we designed ourselves.

Services

  • Business continuity plans: impact analysis, design, testing and exercising
  • Operational risk mapping and management
  • Digital operational resilience - the European DORA Regulation
  • GDPR compliance: records of processing, impact assessments, data subject rights
  • Crisis management and recovery arrangements
  • Awareness and training for teams and governing bodies
