WB SYNERGY intends this site to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever the conditions of consultation or the assistive technologies involved.

Target conformance level

This site has been built to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2. That target is a design commitment; it is not a formal conformance statement, which would require an audit by an independent third party. No such audit has yet been carried out, and we prefer to say so rather than let readers assume otherwise.

Measures implemented

  • Semantic structure: hierarchical headings with no skipped levels, navigation landmarks, correctly marked-up lists and tables with associated headers.
  • Skip link giving direct access to the main content.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Colour contrast verified by calculation: body text has a ratio of 18.66:1, headings 11.77:1 and secondary text 6.53:1, against a required minimum of 4.5:1.
  • The brand gold (4.21:1 on white) is reserved for large type and interface elements. For small text and buttons, a darkened variant of the same hue is used, giving 5.47:1 on white and 4.58:1 on the light panel colour.
  • Accessible forms: explicitly associated labels, required fields indicated by more than colour alone, error messages tied to their fields, and an error summary that receives focus.
  • Interactive targets at least 44 pixels high.
  • Meaningful alternative text for informative images; decorative images hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Explicit language switcher, with correct lang and hreflang attributes. The page language is declared on the root element.
  • The system reduced-motion preference is respected.
  • Fluid layout remaining readable at up to 400% zoom, without horizontal scrolling.
  • The site is fully usable without JavaScript: navigation uses real links and the form works without script.
  • Support for operating-system forced-colours modes.

Known limitations

No third-party accessibility audit has been carried out to date. Testing performed combines automated checking with the axe-core engine across every template - returning no violations - with manual keyboard verification. Screen-reader testing across several browser and assistive-technology combinations remains to be done.
